Terms, guarantee and refunds.

1. Who we are

The provider is Onebit-AI ("I", "me"). You reach me by email at hello@onebit-ai.com. "You" means the person or company ordering the work.

2. How an engagement starts

After a scoping call you receive a written proposal within 48 hours: scope, exclusions, a fixed price for the first sprint, acceptance criteria and dates. Nothing starts until you accept it in writing. Instant purchases start with a kickoff call, at which the same things are confirmed.

3. Prices and payment

1. Prices are published in USD unless another currency is agreed in writing. Converted prices shown on the site are approximate.
2. Engagements at or under $5,000 are paid in full at order. Above $5,000: 50% on kickoff, 50% on acceptance.
3. Invoices are due within 7 days. Card payments are handled by Stripe; bank transfer on request.
4. Taxes are added where applicable.
5. A "from" price is the minimum for that scope; the proposal fixes the exact number before you pay anything.

4. Instant purchases and refunds

Any instant purchase can be refunded in full before the kickoff call. If the kickoff call shows the offer is wrong for you, you get a full refund. If it shows a different fit, the price changes before work starts, never after. Once work has started, the first-sprint guarantee below applies.

5. The guarantee

1. Every first sprint is a fixed price. If the first milestone review is not what we agreed in writing, you do not pay for that sprint.
2. MVP in 4 Weeks: if the agreed scope is not shipped in four weeks for reasons on my side, the final 50% is waived.
3. Audit, Second-opinion and Blueprint fees are credited in full against a build started within 60 days.

6. Acceptance and disputes

1. Each milestone has written acceptance criteria. You review within 5 business days; silence after 10 business days counts as acceptance.
2. Defects found in the review are fixed at no charge.
3. If we disagree at a milestone, we hold a 30-minute review against the written criteria within 3 business days. If they are not met, the sprint invoice is cancelled or refunded within 10 business days.

7. Monthly plans

Billed monthly in advance. Cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. Quarterly prepayment is 10% off, annual 20% off. Included hours do not roll over. Response targets are defaults in the support-plan document and are confirmed per engagement.

8. Ownership

1. On payment you own all deliverables: code, prompts, evals, designs, documentation and data. Repositories live in your organisation from day one.
2. I keep pre-existing tools, libraries and generic know-how, and may reuse them elsewhere.
3. Third-party components and their licences are listed in the handover.
4. I do not name you as a reference or show your work without written consent.

9. Confidentiality

Everything you share stays confidential, during and after the engagement. An NDA before the first call is fine; send yours or ask for mine.

10. Warranty and liability

1. Defects reported within 30 days of acceptance are fixed at no charge.
2. My total liability for an engagement is capped at the fees you paid me in the three months before the claim.
3. I am not liable for indirect loss, and I do not guarantee business results; I guarantee the work as described above.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms are dated. The version in force when you order applies to that order.
